Thanksgiving Dessert Ideas

With Thanksgiving only just a few short days away, I figured I'd write a post about the one dish that everyone looks forward to AFTER that filling dinner, which is dessert.  Besides your normal pumpkin and pecan pie recipes, other scrumptious dishes can be made as well.  I have compiled a list of desserts from the blog that are just right for this Thanksgiving season :)  Click on the pictures and it will take you to the recipes :)

Aunt Ruthie's Pumpkin Bars
~These are great to make if you are looking for something easy.  The combination of pumpkin with the pecans and the cake mix all will blow you away.~

Pumpkin Spice Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting
~This recipe was originally a two ingredient one.  However, I ended up adding a tad more ingredients then two :)  This is great to make if you are looking for a cake to serve~

Homemade Apple Crisp
~This dessert is chock full of apples and cinnamon and sugar.  It's the perfect alternative to an apple pie.  You get the filling, but not the crust.  If you are expecting a huge crowd, double the recipe, as it only makes one 8x8 dish.~

Cinnamon Apple Bread Pudding
~What a perfect bread pudding to serve this time of year!  This is one recipe that is sure to please.  You have your apples, cinnamon, and vanilla.  Yummmm!  Like the apple crisp, if you are expecting a huge crowd, double the recipe.  Your guests will not be disappointed!~

Pumpkin Swirl Loaf
~This is a great recipe to make if you love pumpkin, spice, and cream cheese.  It is made into loaves, however it still can pass for a great dessert.~

I hope these dessert ideas will help in your Thanksgiving preparations this year :)

From our family to yours,

Have a Safe and Happy Thanksgiving Holiday!!!
